How much does the Bio Diesel Reactor Cost?

Base retail pricing for the processing unit itself is $9,195.00 CDN plus delivery. The Processor comes with a detailed manual and video featuring the developer of the technology explaining the easy stepwise process. Options for the system include oil heating barrel, barrel heater, waste oil pump and methanol pump, fuel and waste oil storage barrels/totes.

Approximately how soon will I see payback on the system?

Estimated payback given 2 batches/week from canola oil is less than 1 year (also uses corn, rape seed, olive oil), or producing one batch every 4 days is less than 14 months.

What kind of warranty does the Bio Diesel Reactor have?

The purchaser of these systems understands that while we warrant the operability and durability of the system, we cannot take responsibility for any misuse of the unit, misuse of chemical additives (mixing or storage). The basic system is guaranteed against defects for 1 year from the date of delivery. Purchasers understand that they must follow the instruction manual and do not take shortcuts on any of the prescribed mixing processes and must also use proper WHMIS procedures for the mixing and storage of chemicals.

Does it take a long time to make biodiesel?

With practice you can produce 150 litres of fuel per batch in 2.5 days, and less than 3 hours of hands on time. 300 litres in 4 days in less than 4 hours of hands on time.

For maximum safe operations, the unit should be placed in an area having more than 800 cubic feet of space (10x10x8) and should have good flow through ventilation. It is imperative that Purchasers store bulk supply of methanol (properly grounded) and sodium hydroxide in a separate area for chemical storage. Proper storage of methanol is described in the product manual and from the Methanex Company website.
